This sounds so yummy!! Thanks for sharing!
Oh that does sound good. I am always looking for something to make in my crockpot that is nice and easy.
Well that sounds good. Kinda like Sloppy Joes/Mamwich's. I've never heard it called a "crockpot steamer" though, just crockpot. And I love mine. Thanks for the recipe.
I agree with Rhea it sounds like Sloppy Joes. I had never heard them called steamers until we lived in MD. When we lived there, a steamer could be a sloppy Joe, a crab, or a hot milk drink. It just depended o where you were. We had to ask wherever we went if someone simply said "Steamer." The sloppy Joe style steamers are yummy though.
@Rhea, Thanks for stopping by. The recipe is yummy, the kids love it. I have to admit, I can put down 1 or 2 myself. The recipe is called "Steamers" that's why I have Crockpot Steamers. I've modified the recipe for the crockpot and my kids. Normally, Steamers on made on top of the stove using a steaming process. This recipe is similar to Sloppy Joes, but the ground beef/texture is much finer, similiar to a Steamer.
Steamers are normally cooked on top of the stove and the ground beef is steamed in water, which is where the name Steamer is derived. I try to use my crockpot for as many dishes as I can. They're the next best thing to sliced bread. Please visit again, I'm always posting crockpot recipes.
Wow this sounds really good *and I don't like hamburger meat lol*
